The event of the season

Sjona and Jason got married this weekend (Carolina stole my pictures, that bum!) There's the happy couple, dad walking her down the aisle, and, of course, the table where all the cool people were sitting. (Tara is a table crasher -- she is a cool person wanna-be...) Andrew and Katarina, Mona and Chris, and Milly are missing from the picture. Milly was busy taking the picture, Mona and Chris were rocking it out on the dance floor, and dad and baby... don't know where they were!

It was a beautiful wedding. Just look at the cake! Ana Margarita baked it and put it together. I helped with the flowers. Aren't they the most gorgeous roses?




The weekend was a bit extended by the visit of friends (some that I knew from Costa Rica). David, Gianni, Gilberto, Faranak, Sophia, Brenden and Juliet arrived on Wednesday. So I took Thursday off and we all had a picnic. Then I took Friday off and some of us headed to Jemez to the hot springs. Here's the picture: Vanessa and Jake, David is holding a towel (Gianni is behind Vanessa), Faranak holding Sophia, Gilberto wearing a towel, and Chris (one of Sjona's friends from New Zealand or most recently Haifa) perched on a rock. I took a wrong turn on the path up to the springs, so we took the advanced route (scaling rocks and slippery hills with a baby in tow -- go Gilberto!), but we found the easy way back. Silly me -- you're supposed to turn left after the bridge!


It was a fun time. Didn't get much work done, but that's okay. Vacation starts in less than two weeks!!!
