The Nkouaga visit
Carolina, Patrik and Akeva Paz visited this past Memorial Day weekend. It was so nice to finally have my family visit! We thoroughly enjoyed watching Akeva all weekend -- not much need for other entertainment. But we did get out and about a bit. On Saturday, we took the light rail to downtown and walked down 16th Street -- a walking street, with stores and such. We also went to the library, and Patrik and Akeva rested a bit (see picture below). On Sunday, we went to Washington Park and rode a double surrey cycle carriage thingee. It was like a carriage, and we all had to pedal. Very fun. Forgot the camera though. Then we went to the mountains and stopped at Buffalo Bill's grave. Then we went home and Patrik bbqed for the first time, and it was delicious! All in all, it was a fun trip. I think we wore out Akeva a bit, but she was still a very willing model for our photo shoots :). Isn't she adorable?

She is so cute! Looks like such a fun visit. You must be on vacation now - how nice! My semester has officially ended as well, but there's still a lot of work to do before I leave for China June 16th.
